SHOP THE RUNWAY : STELLA McCARTNEY FALL WINTER 2013/14
Les créateurs britanniques entreprennent régulièrement de se confronter à la tradition tailleur dont peut s’enorgueillir leur pays. Après J.W. Anderson cet automne, c’est Stella McCartney qui s’est pour l'hiver essayée à revisiter d’un point de vue féminin le vestiaire de l’ « homme de la City ». Les premières silhouettes jouent donc le jeu du « costume à fines rayures » féminisé. Puis les rayures s’espacent et le graphisme s’impose. La créatrice est alors libre de retrouver les formes qui caractérisent ses collections : le sweatshirt, la robe djellaba, le combi-pantalon, la robe bustier. La garde-robe féminine est plus variée que le costume trois-pièces et Stella McCartney joue de toutes les opportunités possibles. Elle emprunte ce faisant au vestiaire masculin sa dimension en dessinant des manteaux oversize qui sont autant de nouveaux classiques : le manteau violet vif et le manteau tartan sont le cœur visuel de la collection. Viennent compléter cette collection des casquettes de base-ball en feutre, les très belles pochettes en bois et les sacs Beckett en faux cuir dans leurs variations multiples.
