The fall winter 2013/14 collection designed by Derek Lam undoubtedly belongs to our favorites from the New York runway.
We like the clean cuts, the sobriety of the silhouette, even if you can clearly see how it is inspired by Celine-by-Phoebe-Philo mixed with some Balenciaga-by-Nicolas-Ghesquière collection (the navy part).
The mosaic pattern, the leather skirts, the capes and the skin-tight tops, all referring to the seventies, are another proof of this almighty Celine influence, but it is here done for the best, achieving to build a really great, consistent, collection.
