Here are our favorite looks from the Carven fall winter 2013/14 runway collection designed by Guillaume Henry.
It is a more ladylike collection, less youthful than usual, with long and oversized coats, and a lot of differently worked wools (mohair, bouclé wool, confetti tweed).
Guillaume Henry designed a wrapping, belted silhouette for next winter, but in baby colours, for an always candid woman, now venturing in new countries, but in a very smooth and delicate way : she wears zebra stripes but in tulle, she wants deerskin but only in faux.
Guillaume Henry abandoned prints to focus on shape and fabrics, and even chose a new collar form, now crisscross, that, alongside a turtleneck shrug, covers the neck - but only to let reveal some other part(s) of the body - the chest under the shrug, and the legs under a skirt slit.
The Carven fall winter 2013/14 collection is to preorder at Moda Operandi until Monday, March 11, at 11 pm.
