La collection dessinée pour cet hiver par Isabel Marant va droit à l’essentiel.
Alternant quatre couleurs minérales, pures, parfois en total look – bleu profond, noir, blanc ivoire et gris –, elle ne laisse place à aucune forme d’ostentation ; même si çà et là quelques pièces se parent de clous et de sequins (écharpes, jupes, spencers), ils ne sauraient relever de l’ornement, mais bien plus de cette même neutralité. Leur nature métallique est suffisante, leur rôle décoratif réduit à l’extrême, leur fonction protectrice l’emporte sur leur potentiel festif.
Les accessoires sont ainsi secondaires, presque superflus, tandis que la silhouette se focalise sur les jambes, nues et mises en valeur par des minijupes et de grandes bottes jusqu’au genou, ou bien habillées de leggings. Le décolleté est également souligné par des jeux de transparences, des formes bustiers en surimpression ou d’opportunes ouvertures.
La collection se caractérise par la superposition et la multiplication de pièces fines, voire transparentes (tops, robes, pulls, jupes), qui épousent le corps pour à la fois le couvrir et le dévoiler ; en contrepoint, de grands manteaux cocons et des bottes de fourrure viennent apporter la chaleur indispensable.
On retrouve parfaitement la forme épurée de cette collection dans la campagne photographiée par Karim Sadli : éclairée à la lumière naturelle, presque hivernale, Daria Werbowy pose devant un mur nu, à l’extrémité duquel on devine uniquement une photo en noir et blanc.
